Emily grew up in Centreville, Virginia where she came to know Jesus and was baptized at age 11. She moved to Eastern North Carolina in 2004 to attend East Carolina University and graduated in 2008 with a degree in Special Education. She taught 4 years at New Bern High School in a classroom for kids with moderate intellectual disabilities. In 2012 Emily joined the staff at Two Rivers as the Children’s Director. Emily is passionate about finding creative ways to teach children about Jesus and loves spending time with her husband and three kids.
