Micah is originally from Virginia Beach, VA and is one of 4 siblings. Before joining the TRC team he worked as an Academic Advisor at MACU, as a Lifeguard at Sandbridge Beach and spent many years in youth ministry where he began to follow his calling to work with students and youth. His positive experiences, deepening faith, and influences of his own youth leader led Micah to focus on student ministry. He credits his ability to relate and form meaningful friendships with helping him to make impactful connections with students. Micah’s favorite bible story is of Jacob and Esau throughout Genesis and favorite scripture is John 16:33 because of Jesus’ reminder of who he is and what he says is truth: That this world can cause pain and heartache, but we serve a God that calls us His. Micah spends his free time on the beach, surfing, playing volleyball or fishing or taking road trips, going to concerts or at home cooking and watching his favorite tv shows with his corgi pup.
